Week 6

It's been a weird week. My cycle began at the end of last week - it was longer than normal and started/stopped the first few days annoyingly. That being said, overall, less pain than normal 9I only took pain killers one day).
I did have a few days of anxiety and depression after a fairly intense trigger. I felt like I was somewhat able to control it more than normal. I did have some mild headaches and have had some issues with my ability to think and short term memory - in fact, I just got on the computer to ship some items I sold and realized I had mixed up packages and sent the wrong item to one person and missed shipping the other one all together. That's how my memory issues work - I have no idea and no recall (I looked at the items and saw what was in them like 4 times over the weekend and didn't put it together) until I've already made the mistake. It's actually triggering my anxiety and panic (the knowledge that I put someone else out or make a mistake that causes someone else inconvenience is probably my #1 trigger) a little and I'm hoping I can snap out of it (as in, I NEED to stop even talking about it because just trying to express it is making it more intense...).
The last week or so has had some extenuating circumstances. A lot of stress here with some personal family things and a LOT of enviromental allergies - if you're anywhere in the area you know how bad the smoke is. It tends to trigger our family's emotional issues as a response. It's an allergic response I never would have thought of previously. On top of that, we've been under mid/high level warnings for many of the enviro allergies we have (sagebrush, grass, etc). In other words, many of the symptoms I have had may well be tied to that. The fact that I'd say they are more mild than I'd expect is actually a good thing.
A few other random notes...
Usually I am exhausted this time of the month. It's common for me to sleep 14-16 hours at least a few days the week of my cycle. Instead, I actually worked out twice and accomplished a ton of organizing that has been piling up given my inability to get even normal things done sometimes.
I have not had the level of allergy and asthma issues I would normally expect. My nose is stuffy and my eyes are really dry and itchy, but I have easily climbed a hill outside today in the heat and smoke and wasn't even out of breath which is uncommon even in good conditions. Given the amount of allergens and air quality issues today, it struck me as odd that I paused to rest out of habit and then realized I didn't need to.
I've been having tons of weird dreams. Not nightmares, just dreams. I usually have no dreams I can remember or else have terrible, vivid nightmares triggered by my environmental allergies. My dreams have been bizarre, but not scary and on a regular basis. No idea how that may fit in, but I it was a "huh" moment. LOL
